VMware can be funny sometimes... 😀
I came along this VMware KB while watching a different KB topic: "VMX has left the building: 0". This is a pretty old message from the VMware log (over 10 years) that I hadn't notice until now. There is nothing to worry about this, as VMware explains: "This is an informational message and is caused by powering off a Virtual Machine or performing a vMotion of the Virtual Machine to a new host. It can be safely ignored."
After laughing for several minutes, I started my (nonsense) quest to find another funny VMware KB/log, and I did. "I am being asked to delete a .LOCK file that I'm not sure is mine. This is a bad thing and I am going to fail"
Funny KBs below:
- "I am being asked to delete a .LOCK file that I'm not sure is mine. This is a bad thing and I am going to fail"
- VMX has left the building: 0
Help to enlarge the list, if you know about other funny log leave a comment and I will update this post 😉
