At StorageReivew, we have expanded our vSAN cluster with a fourth host by moving it to the original 3-node cluster. The new ESXi host was configured using the supported cache and capacity devices. This process is relatively easy and took only a few minutes to accomplish, but is something vSAN users may need to cope with regularly as their clusters expand.
